Jared Washington

Founder & CEO

Jared Washington is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is the owner of HOPE, private practice located in Atlanta, GA. He has over 10 years of experience in the Mental Health field and has worked in various clinical settings such as psychiatric hospitals, community mental health agencies and Gwinnett County jail.

Jared has participated in various panels, conferences and TV shows discussing mental health in the Black Community, systematic oppression, and social justice. He also authored the book, Heal or Repeat: Breaking the Cycle of Intergenerational Trauma.

Jared developed a passion for educating communities on mental health and its impact over 10 years ago. His goal is to connect underserved communities of color with resources and to empower them to advocate for themselves.

Jade' Bailey

Therapist

I’m Jadé Bailey committed to helping individuals learn how to help you uncover unconscious habits that are interfering with the life you desire. My central focus is aimed at managing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, work/life balance, substance abuse, and life transitions. My services are centered around increasing self-awareness, relational healing, personal growth, and relationship changes. I believe in helping you discover what is right in your life and encouraging you to tap into your inner strength and greatest potential. I’m passionate about advocating and empowering women into making healthy, conscious and affirming decisions that will overall lead into a healthier balanced lifestyle that is desired.

Andrea Steen

Therapist

I'm Andrea Steen and I've been in social work for the last 19 years.  I'm a therapist that wants to work with you in promoting change for yourself by getting to the root issue of your situation. I work with teenagers that may have a difficult time finding their voice or adjusting to young adulthood. I also work with adults that may be having issues with anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses. I assist couples that may be having communication issues and/or struggles with infidelity. I can help couples with getting to the root of the problem by building trust and both parties starting to have fun again.

Faith Merriweather

Therapist

Faith is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor's degree in Human Services/Management from the University of Phoenix. 

Throughout her nine years of experience, Faith has worked extensively with assessing and providing mental and behavioral health services for children, teens and adults in various capacities including individual and group settings. She has a passion for assisting her clients in gaining insight into the relationship between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors in efforts to aid in enacting change as it relates to their thinking patterns and maladaptive behaviors. Faith takes on a person centered approach and finds fulfillment in utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to encourage increasing self-confidence, emotional regulation and building resilience while navigating through life's uncertainties. She has an eclectic background of working with individuals with various diagnoses including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Social Anxiety, and Autism. 

Faith aspires to provide a welcoming and judgment free environment that utilizes art therapy to facilitate a better understanding of feelings and behavior while experiencing the journey of life.
